Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what information OpticSwap collects and how it is used. We collect the information you provide to operate the marketplace and to keep transactions safe.

• We retain member-to-member messages for up to seven (7) years to support dispute resolution, chargebacks, and legal or regulatory requests.
• Deleting a conversation removes it from your view only; the underlying record is retained for the period above.
• Staff access to your messages is limited to resolving a specific dispute or report and is initiated only from that case — there is no general staff inbox of member messages.
• When Support joins a conversation, you will see a notice in the thread, and Support messages are always labelled as such.
• Every staff read, join, message, and leave is recorded in an internal audit log.
